Well...we didn't go in the National Entrance... we went down the elevators to the big room. Yup...that's 750 feet below the surface!! Our leader waited for us to all assemble with all of our equipment.

The visitor's center is being redone and the downstairs cafeteria is gone... So it's a bit different to look around... then...down the visitor's trail backwards to get to the lower cave entrance.

We leave the trail to assemble to go down. We usually create a bit of a trail block as visitors shoot pictures of 'real cavers'! And we had a LOT of stuff to take down.

Pipe, fittings, buckets, sponges, water tanks, squirters etc... all needed for our projects... We got a guide rope to assist the crew to go down the flowstone... which leads to the ladders down to Lower Cave.
