| We were able to get water from the "lake". But don't let any dirty water get in there! (very challenging to clean and keep the dirty out of the lake!) | Then it was lunchtime... notice the very red rocks low... and the same formations on the wall stained with red. | The CRF is going to come and drain the lake, scrub the clay out of the lake bed, and then bring back the same water to the pond... I'd like to see that! |

| Dang... cleaning the trail sure leaves you dirty! | If you are seen on the visitor's trail, one of us have to be a trail interpreter.. telling people what we are doing. | The guys ate downstairs in the cafeteria (750 feet underground!) Wow... Ohhh.. eeeee! |

| The gals went topside to get warm and eat upstairs and meet the others. Dale, Jon, and Gary went to Lower Cave to clean out the National Geographic Pit. | After lunch we got to play with D's new camera and learn some of the settings. | He'll hopefully learn to take better pics than this but for now... it's not bad for a desktop pic on the computer! |

| We cleaned from the end of the trail backwards to the mushroom pinch and "the rock" to the beginning of the lake. We are recommending Aqua Socks from there out from now on. | After 7 hours, back to the surface! (that sign in the lower right looks good too!) | On the trail to clean the equipment, report back to Cave Resources and then on to Carlsbad for dinner |
